Bring the tools you already use
Python packages that add processes to AfterNight, installed from the Extension Manager inside the application. This list is the official repository's index, read again at every build.
01Browse
Extensions › Manage Extensions… › Browse lists the official repository’s packages, each with its version and details.
02Install
Install downloads the package, checks it and stages it; a failed install is rolled back. Unsigned packages stay blocked unless you allow them.
03Use
Its processes appear under the Extensions menu. Most open in a process window that previews like the built-in ones; each runs in a separate, supervised host process.

A folder, a manifest, an entry point
An extension is a folder with a manifest, an entry point and a lock file. It runs in one of two hosts: the full runtime host, with access to the engine, for GPL-compatible code; or the protocol-only host, which shares no engine code, for extensions under any licence. The repository documents the package format, the host modes and licensing, and the release process.
